We are pleased to announce the new Sales Director, Emmett Burton. Emmett will be on the leading edge of data analytics and machine learning to enhance the way clients address their procurement needs and scalability of their business. He will be serving as a key partner in clients’ procurement transformation as well as working to drive substantial growth of the Tealbook platform.
Emmett joined Tealbook from Wells Fargo’s investment banking fund finance desk where he worked with CFOs and treasurers of large private equity sponsors structuring over $5BN of bespoke credit solutions to their respective funds. Prior to his time in fund finance, Emmett worked in Wells Fargo’s public finance investment banking division advising and structuring municipal bonds for state and local governments in the Midwest. He obtained a bachelors of science degree in finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a minor in management information systems.
Emmett will be relocating to Cincinnati from Charlotte, North Carolina; however, he is a native of Chicago. In college, Emmett competed in pole vaulting on the track and field team and over the past two years, he has developed a strong passion for skiing and is already planning his trips for the upcoming season.
What is Emmett looking forward to?
Having studied information systems and data analytics in college, Tealbook’s vision of empowering clients through access to self-enriching, self-maintaining smart data, really resonated with me. Tealbook has many solutions that can be leveraged by clients to integrate better data in their procurement function and we are at the forefront of this tectonic shift in the market; I am really excited to help clients through this journey.
